In this post, we’re diving head first into the Wren Valley Co. experience, with an in-depth guide so you know exactly what to expect every step of the way.

Step 1: Reviewing our Product Line

Your floral preservation journey begins with exploring our product line to find the perfect pieces for your florals. From elegant display pieces to functional items, we offer a variety of options to match your style and vision.

Visit our display pieces and add-ons to browse photos, pricing, and sizing details for each item. This step ensures that we have what you're looking for before moving forward with your booking.

Not seeing exactly what you had in mind? We’re happy to help! Reach out to us at info@wrenvalleyco.com with your request, and we’ll do our best to bring your ideas to life.

Step 2: Reserving your Spot and Deposit

Once you've reviewed our product line, it's time to reserve your spot! If you're asking yourself, but what date should I pick? There's only Sundays available! No fret! Simply book the Sunday closest to your event date. The date and time is purely for tracking purposes, and your actual reservation details will be confirmed further in the process.

Your $200 deposit will be subtracted from the final total price of your order. Once you place your deposit, you will be sent an Order and Agreement form, where you'll indicate the actual date of your event, confirm drop-off/pick-up details, and select your products.

For short-notice bookings (3 weeks or less), please reach out at info@wrenvalleyco.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Step 3: Submitting your Order and Agreement Form

Once you've placed your deposit, you'll receive the Order and Agreement Form. In this form, you will provide the logistics for your reservation, including your event date (for scheduling), method of flower transfer (shipping, drop-off: Kanata or Centretown, local pickup), and method of order pick-up (shipping, pick-up: Kanata or Centretown).

You'll also have an opportunity to select your products, select your design and volume for display pieces, and include any specific details or requests for your order.

Please submit your form at least three weeks before your event date. It's essential for us to know what products you’d like so we can dry your flowers appropriately. Keep in mind, drop-off scheduling cannot proceed until we’ve received your completed form.

Step 4: Review Care Instructions

Three weeks before your event date, you’ll receive a confirmation email with detailed care instructions for your flowers. It’s important that we receive your flowers as soon as possible after your event to ensure they’re in the best possible state for preservation.

Step 5: Scheduling your Drop-off

One week before your event, you’ll receive a reminder email with details about your floral transfer method (shipping, drop-off, or pick-up) based on the preference indicated in your agreement form.

If you’ve chosen drop-off, the email will include a link to schedule your floral transfer at either our Kanata or Centretown location. While we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference, availability may determine the final location.

Sept 6: Keeping your Florals Fresh

During your event, the best way to keep your flowers fresh is by placing them in water whenever possible. For events like weddings, where this might not always be practical, keeping a vase of fresh water nearby can help. When you’re not using your bouquet, placing it in water will go a long way in preserving its condition.

After the event, trim their stems and continue to keep your flowers in water. These simple steps will help ensure your blooms arrive in the best possible state.

Step 7: Floral Exchange

Following your event date, it's time for us to receive your florals! Depending on the preference you selected in your agreement form, here’s what to expect:

  • Shipping: Follow the shipping and care instructions we’ll send to you. Proper packaging ensures your flowers arrive safely for preservation.
  • Drop-Off: Your reservation confirmation will include drop-off instructions. Please arrive on time and text the number provided to let us know you’ve arrived. If you’re unavailable, feel free to send a family member or friend to deliver your flowers.
  • Local Pick-Up: If you’ve chosen pick-up (an additional fee), please make sure someone is ready at the pick-up location and your flowers are ready for transfer at the scheduled time.

Step 8: Approve Design

For display pieces, after your flowers have finished drying and are at the design stage, you'll be sent a design mock-up based on your preferences outlined in your agreement form. You'll have any opportunity to approve the design, or make changes. As we do not provide this service for add-on items, please make sure to note in your agreement form any special requests or preferences.

Step 9: Time for Your Pieces to Go Home!

The final step in your preservation journey is getting your completed pieces home! Here’s what to expect based on the preference you selected in your agreement form:

  • Shipping: If you chose shipping, you’ll receive a notification once your pieces are on their way to the address provided in your agreement. Items typically arrive within 2–3 business days.
  • Pick-Up: If you opted for pick-up, you’ll receive instructions to schedule your pick-up time. Similar to the floral exchange, this will include details like arriving on time and texting the number provided to let us know you’ve arrived. If you’re unavailable, a family member or friend is welcome to pick up your items on your behalf.
